In April 2027 CREA will once again offer a wide range of interactive workshops that showcase diverse perspectives from research and practice in the field of creativity.

CREA 2027 Theme:

So, let's prototype it.
The multitude of possible futures is extraordinary. Anything is possible.
Change is accelerating. When everything is going fast, the most empowering act is to create. To prototype possible options and alternatives. To prototype your future.
In the age of Gen AI, ideas are becoming abundant. What is scarce and valuable is the human ability to choose, connect, experiment, challenge and execute.
So don’t wait for the future to arrive fully formed.

CREA is a hands-on conference, and we want our participants to experiment and experience their new learning. We are seeking experiential workshops: these are workshops where you learn by doing. Instead of just listening, participants actively engage in activities and then reflect on the experience to gain practical skills and insights. Your proposal must reflect this style of learning.

Workshop Details
  • All workshops will be 90 minutes long and held on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday afternoons
  • Workshops will focus on exploring specific topics within creativity and innovation
  • Successful workshops combine research and theory with hands-on practice

    Focus Areas for 2027

    please submit proposals that fit into one of these four areas:

    • Creative Thinking Tools, Techniques & Frameworks
    • AI powered Thinking (using AI to inspire creative learning and new thinking)
    • Embodied Thinking (moving the body to inspire creative learning and new thinking)
    • Art-Inspired Thinking (using the arts to inspire creative learning and new thinking)
    • Learning from other fields (i.e. Sustainability, Project Management, Education, etc.)
    • Personal Development

    THINGS TO REMEMBER

    Ensure your content is relevant to creativity, innovation, and this year’s theme

    Workshops should be experiential and interactive

    Be mindful of multi-cultural participants and diverse learning styles

    Most workshops will have one Presenter, with the option for two

    PRESENTER DISCOUNT
    Selected workshops will grant the main presenter a 200 EUR discount on the registration fee (this does not apply to accommodation). Please note, this discount cannot be combined with the Early Bird discount—you can only use one.
    If there are two presenters,
    the discount may be shared between them.
