Paul Skaggs

Paul joined academia after twenty-two years of experience in new product design and development. For the last twenty years he has been a professor of Industrial Design at Brigham Young University where he teaches Structured Creativity and facilitates an innovation boot camp. Paul’s passion and research interest is in “designer thinking” including the three cognitive modes of creative, visual and adaptive thinking. Paul has presented numerous papers on the subjects of creativity, innovation, and design. He is the recipient of the Abell Innovation Professorship at Brigham Young University.
