In 2004 I met Edward De Bono as a primary school teacher and came into contact with his theory of the Six Thinking Hats. A new way of using the brain in education. I developed a method for primary school children teaching Dutch kids the thinking hats. The school became the first thinking school in the Netherlands in 2009. A few years later I started teaching at Koning Willem I College, teaching students between 16 and 22 years old the Six Thinking Hats and I also developed a special programme for them. From 2015 till now I have been training teachers and staff using the Six Thinking Hats and many other creative thinking theories, processes, tools and techniques like CPS,ICE-model, Lego Serious Play, Growth Mindset, 4 Ps of Mel Rhodes, Lean and more. “In recent years, I have been involved in the development of activities aligned with the Design Thinking ICE model, which are implemented in The Talent Studio. In 2023, The Talent Studio won the innovation award in the vocational education sector.”
