René Bernèche

For over thirty years as a professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Quebec at Montreal (UQAM), René has established a teaching and research sector in the psychology of creativity. His involvement with the Creative Problem Solving Institute (CPSI) and as a member of the Board of Governors of the Creative Education Foundation was highlighted by the Distinguished Leader Award and the induction to the CPSI Hall of Fame. He is co-founder and first president of Créa-Québec. His contributions to the Crea Conference and Mind Camp have always been filled with contagious enthusiasm, poetry, humor and rigor! He devotes a lot of time to two upcoming publications in the autumn of 2019: two collections of texts and interviews on the approach of the humanistic psychology of creativity.
