‘As a ‘Design Thinc-er in residence in Work West’s Thinc Lab (Belfast), Michelle is responsible for the co-delivery of design thinking workshops and the development of the materials used in the ‘thinc process’. Her BA in Visual Communication provides her with a grounding in creative arts & theory. She worked in creative media prior to assuming teaching roles in the UAE & India; this enabled her to gain an insight into the everyday experiences of students within the education system. Her recent completion of MA Social Anthropology allowed her to explore in great depth the many crossovers between her passions in life; creativity, design and humanities. Michelle describes herself as ‘forever curious’ and through the lens of phenomenology and ‘the senses’ she dedicates her life to the continued exploration of humanities and creativity’.
