Maggie Dugan

Maggie is the founder of Inclusive Innovation, a team of facilitators based in Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America, that designs and leads meetings and workshops to provoke inclusive collaboration – and inspire leaders to collaborate – to tackle complex problems at the intersection of science and development, like those embedded in the Sustainable Development Goals. She’s an alumna of the facilitation team at Knowinnovation, a consultancy specializing in accelerating multidisciplinary scientific innovation. Maggie was deeply involved in designing and facilitating the Africa Science Leadership Program (ASLP) and a similar program in Southeast Asia, the ASEAN-SLP, to inspire early- and mid-career scientists to explore how to use creative, collaborative techniques as science leaders. She’s an enthusiastic member of the community of creativity practitioners since the early 1990s, and she’s been coming to CREA since its inception. Maggie would like to note that her oldest daughter, who was present at the very first CREA conference, is about to graduate from university (gulp)!
