
Jessica Hunter
Jessica Hunter is an educator and curator who designs activities and assignments that build students’ capacities for visual literacy and creative problem-solving. Dr. Hunter holds a BA (Colorado College, 1990) and an MA (University of Colorado – Boulder, 1995) in Art History. Her Ph.D. in Creativity from the University of the Arts (2022) explored the intersections of art, perception, and creativity. She has presented her research connecting visual literacy and creativity in higher education at multiple conferences. Recent publications on this theme include: “Generosity as Artistic Practice,” Cleveland Review of Books (2022), and “When Uncertainty Becomes Possibility,” Site Specific (2021).
