CREA 2020. A big change is coming!

  • 27/09/2019

Dear friends and colleagues,
We are excited and proud to announce that CREA Conference is moving forward in its process of change. And big change it is! Those of you who participated to our CREA2019 Facilitators’ Retreat were exposed to the presentation of our new Vision for CREA202x. That Vision is coming true, as we have found the new venue that embodies the desired future we have envisaged for CREA Conference in the years to come. We are developing a strategic alliance with Dynamo Academy, the enterprise that supports Dynamo Camp, a “recreational therapy camp specially structured to host sick children, in therapy or in the post-hospitalization period, free of charge for holiday and relaxation periods”. Dynamo Academy is “a social enterprise which focuses on education and advisory, leading companies and top managers towards paths of value creation to face the challenge of Corporate Philanthropy, effectively combining business and social giving”. Dynamo Campus where we are going is located in the heart of the Tuscan hills, in Limestre, in the Pistoia province, an hour-drive from Florence or from Pisa. The location is part of a naturalistic oasis of over 900 hectares affiliated to WWF. For more information and a preview of where we are going, please check the following link:
This is where our new ”Green, continuous, impactful” CREA Conference will take place. The campus has state-of-the-art facilities that have been conceived for learning and creative expression. It is every facilitator’s dream.

Next year conference dates are set from May 6th to May 10th, 2020. As we move forward to a new location, we anticipate to make few changes to the structure of the conference for the first year. Yet we know that, once we will settle our new CREA there, ideas will spark and a new conference design will emerge for the next decade, bringing life to the Applied & Ongoing CREA that we desire. We expect that many of you might have mixed feeling about this change, curious and excited on one hand, sad of leaving the magic of Sestri Levante on the other hand. We are thrilled to begin a new adventure and we are looking forward to building and sharing a “new magic” together with you. We count on your support and enthusiasm, as this change takes courage and the transition will need work, resilience and energy.
We thank you from the bottom of our heart for the excellence and commitment of your service to CREA Conference along these years and we hope to see many of you at CREAConference 2020, in any role you might be able to fulfill in our community: facilitator, presenter, Red, participant, and, above all, friend and beloved member of our community. More information will follow this first communication as we move forward to build CREA Conference 2020. Stay tuned, you will hear back from us again soon. With love and gratitude, The CREA Team
